Spartan members, family and friends:

Over the past several years our "Family & Friends Dinner Series" has been a
real hit. If you will remember, we usually start off with "once a month" dutch treat
dinners through the spring and summer months, and then go to our "Royal
Culinary Tour" to honor our King, Queen, and Court on an "every two week"
basis for the fall.  Our third dinner is:

TUESDAY- June 10, 2008 7PM

The 2008 Sparta Parade

 

Overcast skies and cool weather didn't dampen the sprits of either the uptown route parade goers or the Knights of Sparta parade organization. It was a splendid parade put on by our Captain, Officers, Court and Krewe.

Our crowds were larger than anticipated, the King and Queen's toast at Gallier Hall was superb, and the after parade party for our members and Howlin' Wolf was a royal "hoot"!
We hope members, court and the public enjoyed, as much as our officer did!  Hoping 2009 will be as successful.
